No — and here's why. Rately generates the review text, but your customer reads it, edits it if they want, and manually copies and pastes it into Google themselves. Google sees a real human posting from their own account on their own device. The AI is a writing assistant, not a bot. It's no different from a customer using Grammarly.
The review flow still collects their experience as private feedback, which goes to your Feedback Inbox. You get the insight either way. For public reviews, they need a Google account — but almost everyone with a smartphone already has one.
When a customer rates you 1–3 stars, instead of being pushed to Google, they're shown a private feedback form. Their response goes directly to your dashboard inbox — never public. This lets you fix issues before they become 1-star reviews.
